Hi! I'm Sara!

I am so glad you're here! 

I know all too well where you're coming from. I've been where you are - confused, frustrated, and feeling alone in my health journey.

I used to be a night-time binge eater. After a full day of doing all of the "good" things for my body and my health, I was self-sabotaging. Even AFTER I studied to become a nutritionist, I was still doing it, so I KNEW there was something more going on here than just the food, because I already knew exactly what I should be eating and not be eating.

That’s when I went deeper to learn about WHY I was still making these bad choices for myself. Once I figured out how to reprogram that old “operating system” in my brain, everything changed for me, and I wanted to help others do the same.

I'm a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, yoga and meditation instructor, and author. 

I've spent nearly a decade helping women around the world fundamentally change their relationship with food through my popular online programs. I continue to challenge myself to learn and create new materials and programs to elevate the health and wellness of my clients. 

Using techniques such as meditation, mindfulness, visualization, thought reframing and habit mapping, I've helped thousands of clients master unique tools that allow them to stay consistent with healthy habits and self-care, enabling them to properly nourish their bodies and more deeply discover and embody their full potential.

HERE ARE OUR MONTHLY THEMES FOR 2025/26:

  • APRIL - Eating an Anti-Inflammatory Diet - It turns out that chronic inflammation plays a role in many chronic conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, and diabetes - as well as stubborn weight. Diet is one of the most powerful tools for cooling inflammation in the body. Together we’ll explore what to eat (and not eat) as well as key lifestyle changes to address this issue.
  • MAY - The Beauty of Mindful Living - Science has shown that mindfulness helps reduce stress and anxiety, enhances focus, boosts overall well-being, and can contribute to better sleep and mental clarity. This month we’ll dive into practices like meditation, noting thoughts and feelings, and mindful eating.
  • ​​JUN - Better Sleep for Better Health - Quality sleep is essential for your physical and mental health. It supports immune function, brain health, and emotional well-being. Lack of sleep can increase your risk of disease, and make it impossible for you to focus, lose weight or enjoy life. This month we’ll talk about how to eat, move, and think differently to ensure you’re getting all the sleep you need.
  • ​JULY - Eating a Whole Food Diet - What’s the best diet? Easy. A diet predominantly made up of whole, unprocessed food. These foods provide essential nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants, boost digestion, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and promote a healthy weight by keeping you full longer and reducing cravings. This month we’ll talk about how to avoid processed foods, what to look for on labels, and simple swaps to make it easier.
  • AUGUST - Whole Brain Living - Creating more calm and peace in your head by learning exactly how to work with your conscious, subconscious and other parts of your brain that cause you stress
  • ​SEPTEMBER - Eating for Good Gut Health - Good gut health is essential for digestion, nutrient absorption, mental health, heart health, and a strong immune system. A balanced gut can also improve mood, reduce inflammation, and lower the risk of conditions like obesity and autoimmune diseases. This month we’ll talk all about what your gut microbes need to live their best life (and help you live yours!).
  • OCTOBER - 6 MONTH RECAP & CATCH UP - A chance to catch your breath, reflect on what we’ve learned and implemented so far, and explore anything you may have missed in the first six months. 
  • NOVEMBER - Regulating Your Nervous System - Stress, anxiety, overwhelm, brain fog, feeling like you can’t get it together - these are all signs that your nervous system is disregulated. This month we’ll learn simple techniques and practices to calm and soothe your nervous system, leading to a greater sense of balance, resilience and happiness overall. 
  • DECEMBER - Eating For Brain Health - Devastating brain diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer’s are on the rise - especially among older women. Luckily, there’s a lot we can do through diet and lifestyle changes to protect our brains as they age.
  • JANUARY - Building Healthy Habits - None of this works if you don’t have a structure of established, healthy habits to help keep you consistent. This month we’ll break down how habits are formed in the brain and you’ll get my step-by-step roadmap for creating (and maintaining) any healthy habit you want!
  • FEBRUARY - Body Love & Acceptance - Simply put, you must love your body enough to care for it. You cannot hate your body into changing. Body positivity fosters self-acceptance, confidence, and happiness, reducing the negative effects of unrealistic beauty standards and toxic diet culture. This month we’ll explore how we can change our old programming to embrace, appreciate, and care for the body we have. 
  • MARCH - Moon Cycles & More - The truth is that we are all connected to a bigger story written by Mother Nature. By learning to live more in alignment with the phases of the moon, the seasons, our own circadian rhythms, and other natural shifts around us, we learn to hone and honour our intuition for what our bodies truly need throughout the year.

FAQs

GROUP COACHING SESSIONS

When are the group coaching sessions held?

Group coaching sessions will be done via Zoom meeting so we can all see one another. They'll be held four times each month (dates and times will vary to allow for maximum accessibility for people with different schedules and time zones) and I encourage you to try to come to at least one each month.
How long will the group coaching sessions be?

That will depend entirely on the discussion happening that day. They won't run longer than an hour.
Will the group coaching sessions be recorded?

Yes, the group coaching sessions will be recorded for you so, if you want, you'll be able to watch any that you missed - or any that you attended that were particularly helpful for you.

PRIVATE COACHING SESSIONS (for Sparkle members)

When are the private coaching sessions held?

My calendar is open for private coaching Mondays and Tuesdays from 10am to 8pm EST. If you sign up for the Sparkle tier, you'll get access to my calendar and you'll be able to book your monthly sessions with me whenever they work best for your schedule within that window. 
How long will the group coaching sessions be?

Private coaching sessions are 30 minutes in length.
Will the private coaching sessions be recorded?

Yes, the private coaching sessions will be recorded for you so. I'll privately email you the recording link directly the following day.

GENERAL

Does it take a lot of time? I'm already busy and I wouldn't want to fall behind.

Not to worry! This isn't some crazy college course - there's no homework involved (I promise)! Rather, this is a community that will give you some consistent structure, clarity, and motivation throughout the year to keep your health and well being from falling to the back burner (again). You can be more involved some months, and less involved others as your schedule permits. 
Is this included in the Change Your Brain - Change Your Body (CYB) program?

No. The Inner Glow Project is completely separate from CYB.
Can I cancel before the end of the 12 months?

No. The Inner Glow Project is not a monthly membership that can be cancelled anytime; it is a 12-month program with a 12-month payment plan or single payment for the whole year.
I have a specific health or dietary issue, would I still be a good fit for this?

Absolutely. The areas we'll be focusing on each month inside The Inner Glow Project will be helpful no matter what you're going through with your personal health.
I’m not on Facebook. Can I still do the program?

You certainly can. You'll just miss out on the community aspect of the program as well as the weekly motivational videos which will be posted in the Facebook group.
Will all of the material be stored in a private learning portal?

The material and video recordings you get as part of the program will be stored in our private Learning Portal or emailed to you directly.
